Iowa law requires you complete a course for drinking drivers. The course must be approved and designed to inform you about drinking and driving.
Iowa law stipulates that individuals, found to have been operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated – either by failing a sobriety test or refusing to test, must complete a mandated “drinking and driving course that encourages the offender to assess the offender’s own drinking and driving behavior in order to select practical alternatives.”
